Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Design Training)

£40,000 - £45,000 + Training + Progression + Company Benefits

Are you a Maintenance Engineer or similar looking to transition your career into Electrical Design? Do you want to join a well-established Automation specialist who are growing significantly, they offer dedicated training and progression to becoming a fully‑fledged Design Engineer and opportunities to deliver high-quality projects across the world?

On offer is the opportunity to join a growing Automation company who provide design and manufacture solutions for many different clients and partners around the world, which include turnkey control and automation packages. They have created a global client base by providing engineering solutions ranging from manufacturing / production companies, automotive suppliers and water treatment plants.

This role requires you to be involved in the full product life cycle, from conception to completion. You will be involved in customer visits, producing detailed design packages including arrangement and schematics, assisting in control panel testing, conducting FATs and commissioning of systems. This is a Monday to Friday role, with opportunities to travel to customer sites occasionally.

This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer or similar looking to move into a design based position with a leading automation specialist, who offer the ability to make a real difference to their clients, training from the ground up and support to progress your technical skillset.

The Role:

• Drawing design packages and schematics
• Produce documentation and ongoing project timeline and requirement updates
• Complete Commissioning and on-site FAT's

The Person:

• Maintenance Engineer or similar
• Looking to progress career into a design based position
• Commutable to Trowbridge
