Job Description:

We are looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with Electrical bias to join our Fells team in Lennoxtown, Glasgow.

As part of the Engineering team, this role will be responsible for ensuring that all machinery and equipment are maintained, repaired and serviced to a high standard to enable maximum efficiency. The role will involve working on a variety of equipment including high speed bottling lines and associated packing machinery.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance schedules on plant equipment
  • Attend to breakdowns and diagnose faults, repairing machinery and equipment to a high standard
  • Identify recurring defects and implement corrective actions
  • Ensure all engineering documentation such as plans, manuals, permits and risk assessments are maintained and up to date

Requirements

  • Recognised engineering qualification or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrable electrical engineering skills, encompassing fault finding, repair and installation

This role will work a continuous day shift pattern, working 7 shifts over 14 days 07:45- 20:00 .

Example:

  • Week 2 working Wednesday & Thursday

Salary is £41,158 per annum plus benefits including 28 days holiday, company pension scheme, and a free health cash plan.

There is potential in the near future, for night shift working on a shift pattern of 2-weeks of dayshifts, followed by 1 week of nightshifts. This would result in an increase to salary with an increased shift allowance attached.
