Job summary

bet365 is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering Team, focusing on electrical maintenance across our commercial properties. The role involves reactive and planned maintenance, site electrical installations, and maintaining documentation in our electronic systems.

You will contribute to health and safety processes, support on-call rotations, and work with low voltage power, lighting, fire alarms, CCTV, and other security systems. Full-time with a closing date of 18 November 2026.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2330 Electro-Technical Technology (Electrical Installation) or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Higher National Certificate in Electrical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of fire systems, CCTV, security systems and lighting controls.
• City & Guilds 2391-52 Testing and Inspection of Electrical Installations (desirable).
• Good fault finding and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a full range of electrical maintenance duties to a high standard.
• Perform reactive and pre-planned maintenance activities.
• Support electrical compliance across our properties.
• Provide technical advice and support for all electrical systems.
• Carry out elements of multi-skilled works including fixed wire testing.
• Install new electrical systems and equipment.
• Support the Estates Manager with development of processes and procedures.
• Support the delivery of contractor-instructed works.

Job description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work as part of our Engineering Team to support electrical maintenance throughout our commercial buildings, undertaking both reactive and planned works.

You will specialise in electrical maintenance and installation to manage and maintain services and systems for all our sites within the property portfolio. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a variety of electrical equipment, including low voltage power, lighting systems, fire alarms and CCTV.

In addition to electrical system maintenance, testing and installation, you will create and complete all required maintenance documentation and update our electronic systems. This will include creating written job plans and technical reports.

All working tasks are to be conducted in accordance with health and safety processes and procedures.

You will be required to support the department’s on-call rota, including any pre-planned works and responding to equipment issues.

Preferred Skills and Experience

City & Guilds 2330 Electro-Technical Technology (Electrical Installation), BTEC National Certificate or equivalent qualification

18th Edition Wiring Regulations

Higher National Certificate in Electrical Engineering

Working knowledge of fire systems, CCTV, security systems and lighting controls
