Your new role
The Maintenance Engineer will support the efficient operation of plant equipment and machinery. Responsibilities include troubleshooting equipment issues, supporting reactive breakdown recovery, leading maintenance activities, and working on continuous improvement projects such as Kaizen and capital projects. The role involves working on a continental shift pattern within the heat treatment team, focusing on furnaces, vacuum pumps, cooling systems, and mechanical and electrical equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
Hold an HNC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
Strong mechanical skills
Time-served experience
Background as a Mechanical Fitter
Knowledge of electrical systems
