Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to keep our site running smoothly, performing reactive and preventative maintenance on electrical and mechanical equipment. You will join an experienced team and gain exposure to a broad range of equipment and systems, with PPE provided for -18°C work in our temperature-controlled environment.

The role supports development, offers learning opportunities, and involves working Monday to Friday with shift patterns; previous maintenance experience

Qualifications

• Recognised Electrical Engineering qualification or equivalent.
• Strong interest in maintenance engineering and fault finding.
• Good practical problem-solving skills.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new equipment and systems.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to equipment breakdowns and faults, identifying and resolving issues safely and efficiently.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) to improve reliability and minimise downtime.
• Work on site equipment such as conveyors, cranes, refrigeration systems, and plant utilities.
• Support maintenance and monitoring of coldstore equipment to ensure operational performance.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the operation to troubleshoot problems and keep the facility moving.
• Contribute ideas to improve equipment performance, reliability and maintenance processes.
• Record maintenance activities and ensure work is completed to a high standard.
