Job summary
Alloyed is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Engineer to support operations, reliability, and continuous improvement of manufacturing and laboratory equipment at our Yarnton facility. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement improvements in a fast-paced technical environment.
The role requires practical engineering experience across mechanical and electrical systems, working closely with engineers, technicians, and operational teams to reduce downtime and optimise
Qualifications
- Proven experience as Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Engineer, Service Technician, or similar.
- Experience in manufacturing/engineering environments with mechanical and electrical fault-finding.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and engineering drawings.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety in industrial settings.
- Experience with preventative maintenance and reliability improvements.
Responsibilities
- Repair faults and respond to equipment breakdowns as first line of support.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults to minimise downtime.
- Monitor machine performance and identify reliability improvements.
- Support installation, commissioning, modification and relocation of equipment.
- Follow electrical schematics and technical docs for fault finding.
