Maintenance Engineer

8 hours Double Days

Bedfordshire

£47,336 per annum

We're looking for a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join our team in Bedfordshire. You'll play a key role in ensuring our production equipment runs efficiently and reliably, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance across the site.

3>Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPMs) to maximise machinery uptime and reliability.
  • Respond swiftly to breakdowns, troubleshooting and resolving faults to minimise downtime.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance equipment performance and reliabilityli>
  • Work effectively both independently and within a multi‑disciplinary engineering team.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure full compliance with health & safety standards.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Contribute to a supportive, innovative team culture focused on continuous improvement.
What We're Looking For
  • Electrical bias with strong fault‑finding and diagnostic abilities, plus sound mechanical understanding.
  • Ideally from a food/FMCG background.
  • Qualified to 17th or 18th Edition (IET Wiring Regulations).
  • Proven experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
