Chewton Glen is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Maintenance Manager in maintaining the hotel’s high standards across the estate. The role includes day-to-day maintenance, on-call duties and a fixed 11am–8pm Monday–Friday shift with potential rota call outs.

Experience in hotel maintenance and large properties is desirable; you should have a keen eye for detail, strong organisation and clear communication with the team.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to emergency calls for maintenance from all departments.
• Ensure priority maintenance jobs are completed.
• Be flexible in responding to changes in job priorities at short notice.
• Ensure appliances and fittings are safe and compliant with Health & Safety regulations; report faults to Maintenance Manager.
• Be on call on a rota basis if required.
• Staff understand and follow company privacy and data protection policies.

Aim of the Maintenance Assistant role

To assist the Maintenance Manager on a day to day basis to assist with the high standards of maintenance within the hotel

Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Assistant role

• Take ownership in responding to emergency calls for maintenance from all departments.
• Be confident in ensuring all priority maintenance jobs are completed
• To show team work and flexibility in being able to respond to changes in job priorities at short notice.
• To be confident in ensuring that all appliances, fixtures and fittings are safe and work in accordance with Health & Safety regulations and report any faults to the Maintenance Manager
• To be on call on a rota basis if required
• All staff should beconfidentin understanding and executing the company's policies and procedures with respect to privacy, confidentiality and data protection.
