Recruit4staff are representing a well-established food manufacturing company in their search for a Shift Maintenance Engineer to work in Wrexham

Job Role: As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you'll deliver multi-skilled maintenance support across the site. You'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance, assist with engineering improvements, and ensure machinery is running efficiently and safely in a fast-paced food production environment.

• Pay: £47,300 per annum
• Hours of Work: 4 on 4 off - 2 days 2 nights; Overtime paid at time and a half
• Duration: Permanent
• Benefits: Overtime paid at time and a half
• Maintenance experience in FMCG or manufacturing
• Electrical Bias
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and time management
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings

Desired Skills & Experience:

• Food processing experience
• PLC I/O knowledge
• VSD programming
• MEWP licence

Essential Qualifications:

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in electrical or mechanical discipline

Desired Qualifications:

• BS7671 certification
• H&S training (IOSH/NEBOSH)

To plan, schedule, and undertake routine maintenance work as required and instructed.

Work as a member of the Maintenance team, providing out-of-normal production hours as and when necessary, to minimise disruption to production.
