They are seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join a skilled, supportive, and close-knit team. This role suits a mechanically biased engineer with some electrical know-how and FMCG experience who enjoys variety and travel.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical engineering background, or automotive experience such as engine rebuilds.
• Basic electrical maintenance experience.
• Experience in FMCG or fast-paced production environments is advantageous.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site maintenance and repair work across client facilities.
• Diagnose and fix mechanical faults, with some electrical involvement.
• Inspect, repair, and rebuild conveyor systems and machinery.
• Respond to breakdowns and perform scheduled maintenance.

We're partnering with a rapidly growing, family-run engineering firm in Witham, known for delivering expert machinery and production line maintenance across the East and South East. They're now seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer to join their skilled, supportive, and close-knit team.

This role is ideal for a mechanically biased engineer with some electrical know-how - particularly those with experience in FMCG environments who enjoy variety and time on the road.

What's on Offer

• Up to £21 per hour, depending on experience
• Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm
• Overtime paid at one and a half times your hourly rate
• Travel time paid (to and from site, starting from Witham)

The Role

What We're Looking For
