Job description

Due to significant investment, which has expanded the site's packaging capability and installed an automated high-speed canning line, we are looking for two additional maintenance engineers to support the current team and production.

Working Monday to Friday on a 3-shift pattern, you will provide both reactive and proactive maintenance support. The business is family-owned and has a low staff turnover, providing an excellent working environment.

We are seeking either an electrically or mechanically biased Maintenance Engineer to join our current Engineering Team.

The role of a Maintenance Engineer

• Responsible for breakdown situations, planned preventative maintenance, and planned shutdowns
• Engage in continuous improvement initiatives within the team to enhance performance
• Key relationships include the Engineering Manager, Production Team Leaders, and the Engineering Team
• The role involves working within a three-man team covering the Bottling/Canning Halls, Process Plant, and Services

Qualifications and Experience

• Ideally apprentice trained with a minimum Level 3 qualification
• Experience in a packaging environment is preferred but not essential
• Knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and PLC software, preferably Siemens S7
• Experience working in a quality and customer-focused environment
• Ability to make decisions under pressure with minimal supervision
