Electrical Maintenance Engineer
Location: Thirsk Area
Salary: £52,500+ (with bonus & overtime available)
Shifts: Monday to Friday, rotating early and late shifts (45 hours/week)

We're on the hunt for a talented Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based near Thirsk. This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias to take their career to the next level.
What Youll Be Doing
Carrying out fault-finding and repairs on PLC-controlled systems
Performing planned, reactive, and predictive maintenance
Using advanced techniques like thermographic imaging and vibration analysis
Driving plant performance, uptime, and reliability
Ensuring safe working practices and compliance with all health & safety protocols
Supporting process optimisation and managing external contractors
What Youll Need
Post-apprenticeship experience in a manufacturing/maintenance role
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Familiarity with safe systems of work (e.g. Permits to Work)
Great communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
A proactive, can-do attitude and flexible approach to work
Bonus If You Have
NVQ or equivalent in Engineering
