• Carry out all maintenance activities across the factory.

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Engineer whose main objective is to support operations by resolving breakdowns and delivering maintenance. Additionally, they will drive improvements across the site in terms of new machinery, quality, and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Carry out all maintenance activities across the factory
• Respond rapidly to breakdowns to minimize downtime
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment in compliance with Hygiene standards
• Ensure all health and safety standards are met and equipment complies with legal standards
• Perform repairs during production, independently or as part of a team
• Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) with a proactive approach
• Manage engineering time effectively to reduce downtime

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

• Multi-skilled with NVQ Level 3 or higher in electrical or mechanical engineering
• Possess 17th or 18th Edition Certification
• Proactive fault-finding skills and a commitment to continuous improvement
• Practical attitude and team-oriented approach
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
