Salary: GBP46000 - GBP48000 per annum

Role: Electrically biased Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Shifts: 4 on 4 off days & nights

Location: Stoke-on-Trent

An advanced tableware manufacturer is currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to work on their busy site in Stoke-on-Trent. The role offers a salary of £48K, 25 days holiday, pension, and healthcare. You will be part of a dynamic team, responsible for maintaining machinery ranging from advanced robotics to conveyor systems.

THE ROLE:

The Maintenance Engineer will report to the Engineering Team Leader and be responsible for servicing and maintaining various manufacturing machinery, including:

• Robotics
• Conveyors
• Vacuum Systems
• Gas Dryers
• Screen Printing Machinery

The role also involves new installations and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency. The site uses Mitsubishi PLC systems.

THE SUITABLE CANDIDATE:

• Apprentice Trained Maintenance Engineer (or equivalent)
• Electrical qualifications
• City & Guilds or equivalent
• Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Good fault-finding skills
• Competent with Preventative Maintenance Schedules
• Understanding of electrical control systems
• Knowledge of sensors, inverters, motors, and safety circuits
