Your Responsibilities

1. Assist the Engineering Manager with continuous improvement initiatives by recommending changes to prolong machine life, increase efficiency, reduce wastage, and ensure smooth departmental operations.
2. Perform Preventative Maintenance as required.
3. Implement Corrective Actions as necessary.
4. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure smooth production processes and minimize downtime by prioritizing engineering issues.
5. Accurately complete documentation for Corrective Actions and Preventative Maintenance.
6. Support facilities Maintenance and Development activities.

This role operates on a rotating shift basis, either weekly or fortnightly, including:

• Earlies: Monday to Thursday, 6:00 am - 2:10 pm; Friday, 6:00 am - 1:20 pm
• Lates: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 pm - 10:10 pm; Friday, 2:00 pm - 8:20 pm

Your Profile

1. Experience as an engineer in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not essential.
2. Experience in a GMP regulated facility or similar (e.g., BRC, ISO 9001, BETA NOPS) is desirable but not mandatory.
3. Proficiency in IT tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams) for operating ERP systems and an interest in future technology and equipment.
4. Strong problem-solving skills with adaptability.
5. A multi-skilled engineer with an electrical bias.
