Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for a Preston-based role in a state-of-the-art, fully automated factory. You will maintain electrical systems, fault-find, and execute preventative maintenance to maximise uptime and productivity.

The role offers a 4 on 4 off shift pattern and a comprehensive benefits package; previous experience in a fast-paced industrial environment is essential.

Qualifications

• Electrical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands-on fault-finding experience with electrical systems.
• NVQ3 / ONC / HNC – Electrical Qualifications.
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance on fully automated production machinery.
• Perform fault-finding and diagnostic work to minimise downtime.
• Manage planned preventive maintenance to maximise uptime and efficiency.

Job Role of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

You will be responsible for carrying out electrical maintenance, fault-finding, and planned preventative maintenance on a range of fully automated production machinery, ensuring maximum uptime and efficiency.

Non‑Negotiable Requirements of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Electrical maintenance experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Hands on experience with pre-planned, reactive and breakdown maintenance in fast paced industrial factory.

Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Hands‑on electrical fault‑finding experience.
• NVQ3 / ONC / HNC – Electrical Qualifications
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment.

Desirable Requirements for the Electrical Maintenance Engineer

• Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer in the UK.
• Electrical and Mechanical knowledge
