Job summary

PT Engineering & Manufacturing is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team in Poole. This hands-on role covers mechanical, electrical and automated equipment across a busy production site.

You will perform reactive fault finding, planned maintenance and continuous improvement work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with clear opportunities for training and progression within a long-established international group.

Qualifications

• Time-served or qualified Maintenance Engineer
• Strong electrical and mechanical skillset
• Solid fault-finding experience in manufacturing

The role

You’ll be responsible for:

• Reactive fault finding and breakdown response

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site
• Diagnosing faults on automated production equipment
• Supporting equipment reliability and continuous improvement
• Working closely with Production to reduce downtime
• Getting involved in improvement and engineering projects

The site is well invested, and there’s plenty of opportunity to develop your knowledge across different areas of the plant.

What they're looking for

You’ll ideally be a time-served or qualified Maintenance Engineer with a strong electrical and mechanical skillset and solid fault-finding experience within manufacturing.

You don't need to know the site or industry already — what's important is that you're hands-on, confident diagnosing faults and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
