Job summary

Hunter Selection are seeking a Maintenance Engineer in Peterborough to support site operations and keep machinery running smoothly.

You will join a collaborative engineering team, work on planned maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdowns in a fast-paced production environment, reporting to the Engineering Manager or Shift Lead.

This role offers a 4 on 4 off days pattern with an average 36-hour week and a salary up to £50,000, plus benefits and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Level 3 or higher qualification in an engineering discipline.
• A proactive, team-oriented mindset.
• Multi-skilled (mechanical or electrical bias).
• FMCG experience is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Support site operations and ensure machinery runs smoothly and efficiently.
• Conduct planned maintenance (PPM) and resolve reactive breakdowns across a fast-paced production environment.
