Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Maintenance Engineer (Electrical / Electrician / Multi Skilled) in Oswestry on a 4 on 4 off shift. The role offers up to £52,000 DOE, a company pension, onsite parking and the Cycle to Work Scheme.

You will undertake preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment and require an electrical bias or multi-skilled background, with 18th edition or equivalent. The successful candidate will join a small team and contribute to both electrical and mechanical

Qualifications

• 18th edition or equivalent electrical qualification.
• Electrically biased or multi-skilled with broad maintenance competence.
• Experience with production equipment maintenance in an industrial setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems.
• Electrical maintenance: PLC controlled switchgear, inverter drives, solenoids and limit switching.
• Mechanical maintenance: conveyors, elevators, compressors and related equipment.

4 On 4 Off (6:6, 2 Days, 2 Nights)

Maintenance Engineer required for a market leading company who have quickly grown to become a true market leader within their industry. This is a great opportunity to join a friendly, family run business offering job security.

This role will suit candidates who are electrically biased or multi skilled. You will hold the 18th edition or similar.

Joining an existing team of eight, the Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for both electrical and mechanical pre:planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on a range of production equipment.

The Maintenance Engineer Role

• A Preventative and reactive maintenance
• A Electrical maintenance : PLC controlled switchgear, inverter:controlled drives, solenoid and limit switching
• A Mechanical maintenance : includes conveyors, elevators, compressors etc.
• A 4 on 4 off Shift Pattern : 2 days 2 nights
