Job Opportunity: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Are you a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking to advance your career with a Cold Roll-forming company based in West Bromwich on a day shift? If so, we want to hear from you!

Annual Salary, Holiday, and Benefits:

• £35,000 to £38,000
• 33 days including statutory holidays

Person Specification:

• Time-served Mechanical Engineer with several years’ experience in manufacturing
• Minimum City and Guilds Part 1 and 2 in Mechanical Engineering
• Fitting skills, with welding and fabrication abilities considered an advantage; hydraulic and pneumatic fault-finding experience is essential
• Responsible for PPM
• Experience with planned maintenance, continuous improvement, and lean manufacturing
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and capable of working under tight deadlines
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive problem-solving skills
• Good timekeeping and attendance
• Must be eligible to work in the UK and able to provide proof

Experience and Qualifications:

• Over 3 years of maintenance experience in a heavy industrial environment
• City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance or equivalent
