We are recruiting a Lead Engineer with a mechanical maintenance or plumbing bias to join a respected and expanding FM provider. This is a hands‑on leadership role, ideal for an experienced maintenance engineer who is ready to take the next step towards management.

In this role, you'll lead a growing engineering team, work closely with clients, and ensure high standards of building maintenance across multiple commercial sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver hands‑on mechanical and/or plumbing maintenance across client sites
  • Lead and support a small but growing team of engineers
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service
  • Prepare quotes, scope remedial works, and advise clients on solutions
  • Manage and coordinate contractors when required
  • Ensure compliance with all health & safety and company procedures
  • Support the wider FM team with continuous improvements and service delivery
What We’re Looking For
  • Experienced mechanical or plumbing maintenance engineer
  • Strong technical knowledge across commercial building services
  • Confident dealing with clients on a day‑to‑day basis
  • Leadership qualities with a desire to mentor and develop others
  • Ambition to progress into a supervisory or management role
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel (Central Belt & Yorkshire)
