Job summary

Quality Personnel is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a manufacturing site in Milton Keynes. The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance, plus general building and facilities upkeep.

Hours are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, with a benefits package including pension contributions, health plan and life assurance. The Role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you'll be responsible for supporting the site's processes and equipment, covering both electrical and mechanical maintenance, as well as general building and facilities maintenance.

Your duties will include:

• Supporting all site processes and equipment, including electrical and mechanical maintenance, as well as building and facilities maintenance
• Liaising with external contractors when required
• Using technical manuals, engineering drawings and testing equipment
• Carrying out regular checks and inspections
• Keeping maintenance records up to date
• Installing and repairing site services
• Supporting the smooth running of the site and its equipment

About You

Ideally, the successful candidate will have an engineering qualification and some previous experience in an engineering or maintenance role.

• Has an interest in both mechanical and electrical engineering
• Has previous experience working in an engineering or maintenance role
• Is confident using tools and equipment
• Can read and understand engineering drawings
• Has a practical, hands-on approach to maintenance
