Role

1. Multi-skilled, ideally electrically biased (mechanically biased with good electrical skills will be considered).
2. Panama shift – Days and Nights (12-hour shifts) 7-7.
3. Opportunity to work in a modern food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer

1. Assist the team to maximize plant and equipment efficiency to minimize downtime.
2. Ensure planned engineering tasks are completed on time and in full.
3. Follow good repair and manufacturing practices and procedures.
4. Complete planned maintenance documents / CMMS.
5. Collaborate with production staff to meet daily targets.
6. Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to improve efficiency and processes.

Experience and Skills Required

1. Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G's or NVQ Level 3, ideally ONC / HNC level.
2. Multi-skilled, electrically biased with mechanical skills/experience.
3. Apprenticeship-trained.
4. Proactive attitude towards problem-solving and supporting production.
5. Experience in the food sector is required.
