Stirling Warrington Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for their Telford site. This role offers a 4 days on/4 days off shift pattern (days and nights) with a base salary around £53,546 and substantial overtime opportunities in a high-automation factory environment.

You'll work across pumps, valves, heat exchangers, conveyors, robots and packaging machinery, with clear progression routes into team leadership and maintenance management.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer
• Experience with pumps, pneumatics, conveyors, valves and packaging equipment is advantageous
• Electrical qualifications Level 2/3 are essential
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
• Strong attitude with development and progression opportunities

Responsibilities

• Maintain/repair pumps, valves, heat exchangers, mixers, conveyors and packaging machines
• Work with ABB/Kawasaki robots and automated equipment
• Support continuous improvement and training initiatives
• Operate in a 4 on/4 off days and nights shift pattern
• Contribute to health, safety and quality standards

Maintenance Engineer

Telford

£53,546 overtime training

4on/4off Days and nights (2days/2nights four off)

My Client are a global brand name and have been manufacturing in the area for years and have a factory packed to the rafters full of automated machinery. The factory is split into two departments which include the process side and packaging side. Due to a retirement, they are looking to add a maintenance engineer to the team. This opportunity offers a long-term career within a global manufacturing business.

There are progression routes to get to team leader/supervisor and Maintenance Manager. The current Engineering Manager has been with the company for six years and worked his way up. Some of the machines you will be working on include: pumps, valves, heat exchangers, mixers, conveyors, robots (ABB/Kawasaki), sealers, box machines, packaging machines and much more. Any experience on these would be advantageous.The engineering environment is varied, technically interesting and offers plenty of opportunity to develop your skills.

Experience required for the maintenance engineer:

• 5 years Exp. working as a multi-skilled maintenance engineer - would look at either bias
• knowledge of pumps, pneumatics, conveyors, valves, packaging machines etc is advantageous
• Level 2/3 in electrical qualification is a must
• Ideally worked in a fast paced production environment
• Attitude is key for this role, loads of development and progression opportunities for the maintenance engineer
• Would look at maintenance engineers from any background including ex-forces
