Job summary

Elevation Recruitment Group are working with a heavy manufacturing client in Glossop, Derbyshire who are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical or Electrical) to join a close-knit team.

The role is based in Glossop with salary to be discussed and attractive benefits including an 8% pension, sick pay and service awards. You will react to breakdowns, plan and schedule PPMs, and drive continuous improvement in machinery and processes.

Qualifications

• Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in a heavy manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• React to breakdowns on industry specific equipment.
• Plan and schedule PPMs and help develop the system as you go.
• Adhere to health and safety policies at all times.
• Control stores, tools and equipment and monitor costs.
• Improve production facilities.
• Drive continuous improvement on machinery to prevent future breakdowns.

• Reacting to breakdowns on industry specific equipment
• Planning an scheduling PPMs- helping develop the system as you go

• Forward-thinking of continuous improvement on the machinery to prevent future breakdowns

What We’re Looking For:
