Job summary

TechNichols Resourcing Ltd is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer (Multi Skilled) to join a small, dedicated team in the Farnborough area. You will undertake planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns and contribute to upgrades and installation projects.

You should have a background in maintenance engineering, be adaptable across mechanical and electrical tasks, and be prepared for training courses to upskill. The role offers a salary of £48k-£50k plus benefits and a friendly team.

Qualifications

• A background in Maintenance engineering in relevant environments such as manufacturing, production, industrial, facilities or similar.
• Completed an engineering apprenticeship or hold NVQ or C&G Level 3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking planned maintenance and reacting to breakdowns.
• Delivering equipment upgrades, new installations and infrastructure changes.
• Working within a small team to support maintenance and project work.

Role

Maintenance Engineer, Multi Skilled

Hours

Monday to Friday, 7:00am till 4:30pm (7:00am till 12:00pm on Fridays)

Salary

48,000 to 50,000 per annum, plus benefits and further training and up-skilling opportunities to be sent away on training courses, 25 days holiday + 8 bank holidays, life assurance and pension (8%)

Location

Commutable from Camberley, Aldershot, Farnham, Guildford and surrounding areas

Company

We are actively recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to work within a small and well established team and company. You will benefit from opportunities to enhance your learning and growth by taking advantage of the internal and external training on offer, to become a better and more rounded Engineer. It is to work in a small team of 2 Engineers completing planned maintenance, responding to breakdowns and complete various projects and installation work. It is varied, fun and enjoyable.

Ideally with you be multi skilled, minimum split of 80/20.

The Role

Responsibilities include undertaking planned maintenance, reacting to breakdowns, delivering equipment upgrades, new installations and infrastructure changes, together with building maintenance as & when required. It is a multi skilled environment, and whilst it is not essential, having someone from an environment where they've supported both would be advantageous.

Requirements

• A background in Maintenance engineering in any environment, such as manufacturing, production, industrial, facilities, FMCG, building services or similar type production/manufacturing environments.
• Have completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications ie. NVQ or C&G Level 3 or similar
• Having experience and skills across SOME of the following; motors, belts, bearings, chains, gear boxes, sensors, relays, contactors, pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics.
• Great attitude with the genuine desire to settle and be part of a great small team
• Highly adaptable and happy to turn their hands to all areas
