We are seeking a Maintenance Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This role involves a mix of planned maintenance, fault finding, reactive repairs, and machinery restoration, combining hands-on tasks with improvement projects.
The successful candidate will work on a variety of equipment, including electrical, mechanical, PLC, and automation systems. An electrical bias is preferred, but experience in all areas is not mandatory.
Requirements include an engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent), a good understanding of health & safety standards, and preferably experience within the food/FMCG sector. Knowledge of CMMS, motors, pneumatics, and sensors will be advantageous.
