Job summary

CV Technical Limited is recruiting a Maintenance Engineer for a busy Derby food manufacturing site. The role involves planned and reactive maintenance across a production environment, with a focus on electrical and mechanical fault-finding and repair on conveyors, packaging and sealing systems.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will diagnose faults on PLCs/SCADA, read schematics, and liaise with suppliers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of BS 7671 / IET Wiring Regulations, or equivalent.
• Strong electrical fault-finding experience.
• Experience with PLCs, SCADA systems and PCBs.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Experience with conveyors and packaging equipment.
• Knowledge of sealing and vacuum-packing machinery would be advantageous.
• City & Guilds Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

Salary: £49,649 per annum

Shift: Permanent lates, 4:00pm - 1:00am

Location: Derby

Start Date: ASAP
