A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

• Maintain high standards across the hotel, ensuring all guest areas, facilities, and behind-the-scenes operations are flawless and pristine
• Collaborate with departments to address maintenance needs promptly, including emergency repairs and room upgrades, ensuring safety and reliability
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure safety, compliance, and aesthetic standards are met
• Promote continuous improvement by implementing best practices and encouraging skill development within the team
• Stay updated with the latest tools, technology, and maintenance techniques to bring innovative ideas to the property

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Experience in maintenance or engineering, preferably in hospitality or a similar environment
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general building maintenance, with proactive problem-solving skills
• Organizational skills and ability to multitask, responding quickly to urgent issues
• Flexibility to handle urgent repairs, including occasional evenings, weekends, and on-call duties
• A passion for maintaining a safe, functional environment that enhances guest experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with good communication skills
