Job summary

Fairfax Meadow, part of Sysco GB, Derby site, is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to maintain and repair equipment to ensure continuous operation. You will perform routine maintenance and address issues to minimise downtime, keeping facilities and machinery in good order.

Ideal candidates have relevant engineering experience; qualifications are a plus. You will need an organised, proactive approach, good communication, and problem-solving skills to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering experience with maintenance and repairs.
• Qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
• Strong organisation and attention to detail.
• Clear communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience in a similar role is preferred.

Job Description

A satisfying role. As a Maintenance Engineer, you will need to have relevant engineering experience, with qualifications being an advantage. It will be your engineering ability, positive attitude, and problem-solving skills that help keep the operation moving on a daily basis. This role will ensure breakdowns are minimized, and that all fixtures, fittings, and equipment are maintained to an agreed standard.
