Job summary

Fairfax Meadow, part of Sysco GB, is recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer to keep site equipment running through routine maintenance and timely repairs. The role operates with a 16:00–01:00 shift, Monday to Friday, at East Midlands site.

Salary up to £49,649 depending on experience, with benefits including pension, health plan, and staff discounts. Experience in engineering is preferred; qualifications are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance engineering or similar.
• Qualification in engineering is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant equipment to minimize breakdowns.
• Schedule and perform preventive maintenance and adjustments.
• Ensure fixtures and fittings meet required standards.

Join us as Maintenance Engineer and help to maintain the continuous running of equipment and machinery through routine maintenance and repairs.

A satisfying role

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will need to have relevant engineering experience, with qualifications being an advantage. It'll be your engineering ability, positive attitude, and problem-solving skills that help to keep the operation moving on a daily basis. This role will ensure breakdowns are kept to a minimum, and that all fixtures, fittings, and equipment are maintained to an agreed standard.
