Job summary

Stirling Warrington is hiring a Maintenance Engineer - Electrical Bias for a brand-new, state-of-the-art site near Aldridge. The role offers £51,000 with overtime taking potential earnings to £65,000, on a 4 on/4 off days and nights schedule.

You’ll work with brand-new machinery, including robots, and have access to Level 3 Electrical Training to upskill. You’ll join a forward-thinking team that values collaboration, with strong PLC focus and on-site Siemens training.

Qualifications

  • At least 3 years experience as a maintenance engineer.
  • Must hold Level 3 in an Engineering Discipline.
  • Ideally multi-skilled with electrical bias and experience with conveyors, kilns, dryers, crushers, robots.

Responsibilities

  • Work on brand new machinery including robots and high-tech equipment.
  • Develop and up-skill through on-site PLC systems training and projects.
  • Shadow projects and collaborate with other teams to gain valuable experience.
  • Learn on the Siemens S7 test rig and drives to support maintenance tasks.

What We’re Looking for:
  • At least 3 years experience working as a maintenance engineer.
  • Must be qualified to Level 3 in an Engineering Discipline.
  • Ideally be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer with an electrical bias.
  • If mechanically biased – need to have a reasonable level of electrical knowledge.
  • Experience with any of the following advantageous: Conveyors, Kilns, dryers, crushers, robots.
  • Ex-forces encouraged to apply.
