Job Title: Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical) | Location: Belfast

Shift Pattern: 12-hour days and nights rotating

About the Role

As our Maintenance Engineer, you will need to be resilient and adaptable to thrive in our fast-paced environment. Using your own initiative will be key.

Working with a team of skilled engineers, you will be responsible for repairing issues with bakery production lines and encouraged to implement positive ideas to improve machine reliability.

Your role involves diagnosing mechanical faults within the factory, carrying out essential machine maintenance, and ensuring the smooth operation of the production line to minimize downtime.

We value proactive engineers who seek to make improvements and influence situations positively, rather than just reacting to issues. You will ensure faults are identified and repaired efficiently.

This role offers a fantastic shift pattern, resulting in less than half the year's work.

Key Requirements

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical engineering
• Previous experience as an engineer in a manufacturing environment
• A strong work ethic demonstrated through your experience
