Job summary

Orange Monkey Recruitment Ltd in Ely, Cambridgeshire, is hiring a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer for a days-based role in a busy manufacturing environment. You’ll join a small team focused on planned maintenance, breakdowns and continuous improvement.

The role covers electrical and mechanical maintenance with no night shifts, a rotating schedule including a weekend shift every few weeks, and opportunities to work across production equipment with a supportive engineering manager.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in manufacturing or FMCG environments.

• Strong fault-finding skills.

• Hands-on engineering approach with cross-discipline capability.

Job description

Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire

Salary: £55,000

The shift pattern - nice and simple:

Monday to Friday, rotating weekly between:

• 6:00am-2:30pm


• 9:30am-6:00pm

1 weekend in every 3: You’ll work Saturday & Sunday, 7:00am-3:30pm.

When you work the weekend, you’ll get 2 weekdays off the following week, with flexibility around which days you take.

So you’ll never work more than 5 days in a week. No nights.

Are you a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for a days-based maintenance role with no night shifts?

We’re recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join an established engineering team within a busy manufacturing environment.

You’ll be joining a team of five engineers, reporting directly to the Engineering Manager. The role is a good mix of planned maintenance, breakdowns, fault finding and continuous improvement.

They’re open on bias too - whether you’re stronger electrically or mechanically, they’re happy to consider you providing you’re comfortable working across both.

What you’ll be doing:
