Job Description

Working in our glass manufacturing plant as part of a team or independently, you will be responsible for planned maintenance inspections on mechanical equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Experience in manufacturing is beneficial but not essential.

You should have a logical approach to problem-solving, good communication skills, and a proactive attitude. The role involves setting up production lines and inspection equipment, ensuring tasks are completed within specified time frames and right the first time.

Training will be provided.

Qualifications

You will be a time-served Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (Modern Apprenticeship/City & Guilds or similar). Motor vehicle qualifications may also be considered.

Additional Information

  • £17.02-£18.55 per hour
  • Core hours: Monday to Friday, 39 hours per week
  • Overtime paid at 1.5x or 2x
  • Employer contribution pension plan (up to 11%)
