Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions in Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team. You will perform preventative and reactive maintenance across building services, diagnose faults, and implement repairs to keep facilities running smoothly.

Working hours are 8am to 5pm, Monday to Friday with overtime available. The role requires strong communication with stakeholders, adherence to safety standards, and accuracy in logs and inspections.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in high profile work environment.
• Previous fabric experience advantageous.
• PC literate and able to use standard software.
• Good customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance across building services.
• Diagnose faults and implement effective repairs.
• Carry out weekly PPMs and safety checks (fire alarms, emergency lighting).
• Oversee lighting, lamp changes, filters, AHU/FCU checks and basic plumbing.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and compliance.
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders on site.

We are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join the team located in Aberdeen!

The Role:

• Perform preventative & reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and implement effective repairs across all building services systems.
• Weekly PPMs such as fire alarm tests, emergency light tests & hazard checks.
• Repairs floor & wall coverings.
• Responsible for other building maintenance & installation works as required.
• Accountable for lighting, general lamp changes, Filter Changes AHU’s / FCU’s and Basic Plumbing requirements
• Provide excellent customer service, respond to requests, and maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Oversee and liaise with contractors across site.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment logs.
• Ensure adherence to health & safety regulations, conduct inspections, and maintain accurate records of compliance.
