Job summary

Wagstaff Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Electrician in Romsey, Hampshire to join a busy manufacturing site. The role covers electrical maintenance, routine PPMs, and repairs within a heavy industrial setting.

You will install electrical systems, work with contactors, control panels and motors, and perform safety tests as part of a growing, skilled team. A permanent position with appealing benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Be comfortable with electrical faults in heavy manufacturing environments.
• Initial and periodic testing and inspection (2391) experience.
• Experience fault finding and repairing components.
• Experience with PLCs.

Maintenance Electrician

Monday-Friday: Weekly Changeover 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 Hampshire

Commutable from – Stockbridge, Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury, Basingstoke

£40,000 – £46,000 + Production Bonus + Overtime

Our client is a leading processor bringing together a wide range of established brands across the UK and Europe. The company produces a range of building materials using traditional and modern manufacturing methods. They are looking to bring onboard an additional maintenance fitter to their team.

Role & Responsibilities

• Electrical maintenance, PPM's, and repairs

• Carry out safety tests

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

• Be comfortable with working on electrical problems and faults within a heavy manufacturing environment
