Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Maintenance Electrician for a days-based role in Reading, offering a better work-life balance and a structured, less pressured environment. You will handle electrical maintenance, fault finding and installation across a varied estate of academic and commercial buildings.

Working hours are 8:00am-4:00pm Monday to Friday. The package includes 42 days holiday, an excellent pension, overtime, call-out payments, funded training and clear progression

Qualifications

• NVQ level 3 in electrical installation or equivalent required.
• AM2 and 18th Edition knowledge preferred.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and fault finding essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out electrical maintenance, fault finding and repair work
• Working on power, lighting and related electrical systems
• Supporting planned preventative maintenance and reactive tasks
• Electrical installation work across a varied estate
• Liaising with contractors and internal stakeholders
• Providing support to apprentices and junior team members
