Job summary

Stirling Warrington Limited is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our established manufacturing site in Barnsley. You will maintain and improve production equipment, minimise downtime and support automation and CNC systems.

The role offers a £48,158.45 base salary with a Panama shift pattern, enhanced overtime, pension, healthcare and ongoing training to develop your skills within a stable engineering team.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 3 electrical qualification, apprenticeship or equivalent is desirable.
• Experience in an industrial, manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Good electrical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working with industrial machinery, automation or control systems.
• A proactive, hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and reactive electrical maintenance.
• Diagnosing electrical faults and responding to machinery breakdowns.
• Maintaining and supporting automated production machinery, including CNC equipment.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance reliability and performance.
• Working safely and collaboratively with production and engineering colleagues.
• Developing your technical skills through ongoing training and development.
