Job summary

Proactive Global is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Engineer in Doncaster on a Panama shift (days and nights). You will maintain automated warehouse systems, ensuring safety and continuous operation while contributing to improvements.

The role offers a base salary of £49,000 with OTE £52,000, a 42-hour shift rotation, and a generous bonus scheme including staff discount and share save opportunities as the company expands with high‑tech automation.

Qualifications

• Experience in FMCG, food manufacturing, waste to recycling, automated warehousing environments.
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Experience working in a high-pressured environment.
• Willingness to work a 42-hour shift rotation (days/nights).

Responsibilities

• Maintain all materials handling equipment and ensure efficient operation of the Building Management System.
• Keep maintenance areas and stores clean and tidy.
• Receive maintenance spares and locate them in stores or workshop.
• Advertise and maintain health and safety practices, reporting hazards.
• Assist in the completion and review of risk assessments for the department.
• Undertake regular health & safety inspections with Site Management.
• Promote idea generation through STPs in line with Target Zero.
