Job Description:

• Up to 40k plus 2,5k further payment once made Electrical AP
• Monday to Friday, on a single site in central Birmingham, with the following hours:
• Week 1: 7AM - 3PM
• Week 2: 1PM - 10PM
• Week 3: 8AM - 5PM
• One week in six call-out, paying £1350 standby per annum, and 4 hours work paid if called
• Call-out covers the local region beyond the site
• Excellent training provided

At ISS, one of the UK's leading Facilities Management providers, we are recruiting a qualified Electrician for our Maintenance team at a corporate banking facility in central Birmingham.

You will work with other engineers to perform planned and reactive electrical maintenance, covering Low and High Voltage systems, final circuits, standby generators, load shedding equipment, UPS systems, batteries, earthing, lighting protection, emergency lighting, and security lighting.

Some responsibilities include managing UPS load bank testing of batteries. We are open to electricians eager to gain more experience with high voltage systems.

The role also involves small mechanical and fabric maintenance tasks, with work assigned via a tablet system, allowing autonomy in managing your workload.

Key actions:

• Manage electrical PPM, reactive and proactive works through the helpdesk, exceeding customer expectations.
• Perform other building services maintenance, including fabric, HVAC, and mechanical tasks.
• Respond to call-outs as per the rota.
• Control contractor activities, monitor workmanship, and issue Permits to Work.
• Ensure electrical equipment operates to performance standards.
• Evaluate performance and ensure proper servicing and maintenance of contracted equipment.
• Maintain accurate administration and documentation.
