Job summary

Complete Talent Services Ltd in Irvine, United Kingdom seeks a time-served Electrician to support a site maintenance team. You will read electrical drawings, work on electrical and mechanical systems, and perform fault finding to maintain uptime.

You will be comfortable working at height and in confined spaces, with knowledge of LOLER, PUWER and DSEAR advantageous. IEE 18th Edition qualification required; HV competency desirable.

Qualifications

• Time served Electrician with IEE 18th Edition compliant qualification.
• Experience with site maintenance and electrical systems is preferred.
• HV competency is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation of a comprehensive site maintenance regime.
• Read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and O&M manuals.
• Demonstrate strong electrical fault-finding capability.
• Work well in a team with flexible approach.
• Experience working with PLCs and star/delta startups.
• Assist with development of Apprentice workers.
• Provide assistance to mechanical fitters and perform ad hoc duties as required.

Job description

Objectives & Measurement

Key Responsibilities and Specific Accountabilities:

Including but not limited to:

• Assist with the implementation of a comprehensive site maintenance management regime.


• Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, schematics and O&M manuals.


• A strong electrical fault finding capability


• A strong team working ethic with a flexible working approach


• Experience working with PLCs, star/delta startups.


• Assist with the development of Apprentice worker(s)


• Provide assistance to mechanical fitters and ad hoc duties as and when required.

Measurement: Consistently provides high standard, high quality electrical & mechanical support to the established site based maintenance team.

Job Knowledge / Education and Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

Time served Electrician, qualified to IEE Regulations 18th Edition. WwTW maintenance experience preferred but not essential.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Training and competency with regards to the safe isolation of electrical and mechanical equipment essential. Training and qualifications related to LOLAR, PUWER and DSEAR regulations an advantage. HV competency desirable but not essential.

Physical Demands

Ability to work at height and in confined spaces. Physically demanding role.
