Job summary

FM Search & Select Ltd are recruiting an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our established team, delivering maintenance across social housing contracts in Scotland's Central Belt. You will perform planned and reactive electrical work in domestic properties.

This full-time role offers a salary up to 40,000, a company van and a varied workload across housing associations, with a strong emphasis on safe working practices and high-quality fault-finding and testing.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified Electrician with SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
• Experience in domestic maintenance, ideally within social housing.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Inspection & Testing qualifications desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned and reactive electrical maintenance across social housing properties.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and electrical repairs.
• Completing electrical testing and remedial works.
• Attending day-to-day maintenance jobs across housing association contracts.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high standard.
• Liaising with tenants and housing association representatives.
