Job summary

Navantia UK is seeking a time-served electrician to support its industrial maintenance operations across its Belfast facilities. The role requires 17th/18th Edition, fault finding, schematics, and experience with PPM and reactive maintenance, LOTO systems, HV switching, DC systems, and operating forklifts/cherry pickers and road vehicles.

The successful candidate will join a growing team delivering complex naval projects, with opportunities for training, a company pension, and a collaborative

Qualifications

• Time-served electrician with industrial/maintenance experience.
• Must have 17th/18th Edition and be able to fault find and read schematics.
• Experience with PPM and reactive maintenance and LOTO/permit systems.
• Competence in HV switching and DC systems; ability to operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain electrical systems on naval projects across Belfast facilities.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance and inspections.
• Apply LOTO procedures and permit controls during work.
• Diagnose faults using schematics and electrical drawings.
• Operate forklifts/cherry pickers and other road vehicles as required.
