Job summary

CBW Staffing Solutions Ltd is seeking an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join our team on a temporary basis for circa 6 months at a static site in Aberdeen City Centre, performing planned and reactive maintenance.

You will fault find, repair electrical systems, complete small works, and maintain records, with focus on safety and compliance with BS 7671; immediate start; competitive hourly rate dependent on experience.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent.
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 desirable but not essential.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification.
• Proven maintenance and fault finding experience.
• Work independently with good workload management.
• Strong health and safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on site.
• Complete small electrical works and general jobbing tasks.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests promptly.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure work complies with electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance records.
• Liaise with site team and report issues or additional works identified.

We are looking for an experiencedMaintenance Electrician to join our team on a temporary basis for circa 6 months, carrying out a variety of planned and reactive maintenance tasks across a static site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out electrical maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on site.
• Complete a range of small electrical works and general jobbing tasks.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with current electrical regulations.
• Accurately complete job sheets and maintenance records.
• Liaise professionally with the site team and report any issues or additional works identified.

Requirements:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent).
• City & Guilds 2391/2394/2395 (Inspection & Testing) desirable but not essential.
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS 7671) certification.
• Proven experience in maintenance and fault finding within commercial or industrial environments.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively.
• Strong understanding of health and safety procedures.
• ECS/CSCS card preferred.

Contract Details:

• Contract circa 6 months
• Static site location (no travel between sites required).
• Immediate start available.
