Job summary

Adecco is recruiting for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer in Hull to join a busy 24/7 manufacturing environment. You will maintain production equipment, fault-find, and support site reliability through planned and reactive maintenance activities.

The role requires strong fault-finding skills, experience with PLCs and drives, and the ability to read electrical schematics while following safety procedures. A City & Guilds electrical qualification and 17th/18th edition are preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous electrical maintenance experience within manufacturing, industrial or engineering environments.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working with PLCs, motors, drives and control systems.
• Good understanding of electrical schematics.
• Knowledge of safe isolation procedures and health & safety requirements.
• Reliable, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive electrical maintenance.

Hull | £52,000 | 4 On / 4 Off Shift Pattern (2 Days, 2 Nights, 4 Off)

The Role

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Maintenance Electrical Engineer to join a busy manufacturing environment in Hull.

Working within a 24/7 operation, you'll be responsible for maintaining production equipment, carrying out fault finding, and supporting site reliability through planned and reactive maintenance activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Work on PLCs, drives, motors, inverters and control systems
