Job summary

YMCA DownsLink Group is recruiting a Cleaner to join the Maintenance team across East Sussex. The role involves daily communal cleaning, cleaning of voids and empty properties, and supporting preparation for new residents. You will plan travel between sites, liaise with managers on access, and maintain clear records while meeting KPIs.

A full UK driving licence is essential; a vehicle will be provided. The position is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00, with duties across East

• Experience in cleaning in housing or similar setting.
• Ability to meet targets and KPIs.
• Knowledge of health and safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Carry out day-to-day cleaning across YMCA DownsLink Group properties to high quality standards.
• Assist the maintenance team with voids cleaning and preparation for new residents.
• Plan travel and workload across East Sussex sites to meet priorities.
• Liaise with Supported Housing Managers or Repairs Supervisor on access and timelines.
• Communicate clearly with residents and staff; driving licence required and vehicle provided.
