Job summary

Wetherspoon is seeking a Maintenance Associate for The William Dampier, Yeovil. You will carry out maintenance and decoration tasks unsupervised, ensuring a clean, safe workspace and compliance with SOPs/DSOPs. You’ll work with third-party contractors, provide good customer service, and support the pub’s upkeep to meet business needs.

This 16-hour per week role offers a competitive hourly rate, 28 days holiday pro rata, and a pathway for future progression within the company.

Qualifications

Background in maintenance or similar.
Hands-on approach with practical knowledge.

Responsibilities

The Role

To carry out all required maintenance and decoration duties, in line with an approved task list, working unsupervised.

You Will

provide excellent customer service.
ensure a clean, safe and legal workplace.
adhere to Wetherspoon`s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies.
work with third-party contractors.
ensure that all work completed by you, or by an approved contractor, is in line with the company`s design standard operating procedures (DSOPs).
carry out any reasonable task, as requested, to meet the needs of the business.
