Job summary

The Devonshire Arms Hotel & Spa is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our supportive maintenance team at the Devonshire Arms. This permanent role includes 40 hours per week with live-in accommodation on offer.

You will carry out general repairs across the hotel, including painting, decorating, joinery and plumbing, with a focus on fire, water and electrical safety to keep guests safe and comfortable.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Team player who thrives in a friendly, respectful environment.
• Calm under pressure with good communication skills.
• Pride in your work and a desire to be part of a healthy, happy workplace.

Responsibilities

• General repairs across hotel properties including painting, decorating, joinery and plumbing.
• Regular equipment checks and safety duties for fire, water and electrical systems.
• Maintain a safe, well-kept environment to enhance guest experience.
• Work as part of a friendly maintenance team with clear communication.

The role:

We are looking for a hands on, organised, and proactive induvial looking to join our Maintenance team at the Devonshire Arms in

In this role your duties will be varied and will include a wide range of general repairs and maintenance throughout our

properties. Tasks would include painting, decorating, joinery and plumbing regular equipment checks, fire safety, water safety and

electrical safety.
