Job summary

Sellick Partnership are recruiting a Maintenance Assistant for a Public Sector client in Reading on an initial temporary basis.

The role involves routine maintenance of buildings and facilities, responding to estates tasks, and carrying out handyperson duties while complying with health and safety regulations. A valid UK driving licence is essential; the role may lead to permanent opportunities.

Qualifications

• Relevant certification or NVQ Level 2/3 in building maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing and joinery.
• Full UK clean driving licence.

Key Responsibilities of the Repairs and Maintenance Assistant

• Perform routine building maintenance duties

Essential criteria of the Repairs and Maintenance Assistant

• Good knowledge of property repairs ie basic plumbing and joinery


• Hold a Full UK clean Driving Licence
